Abacus Surfaces offers two brands of rubber tiles: POWERStock Pro Tiles and PlayFALL Safety Tiles.
Both varieties are made of 100% recycled rubber and have been used in commercial and residential applications for their attractive, low-maintenance, and slip-resistant qualities. Common residential uses include usable rooftop spaces, patios, decks, walkways, and decorative garden paths.
POWERStock Pro Tiles

POWERStock Pro tiles are a composite product consisting of a 100% recycled SBR rubber backing, topped with a 100% post-consumer recycled tire rubber (SBR/EPDM) wear layer. Originally developed as a fitness flooring solution, POWERStock tiles offer superior strength, safety, and comfort. They are enforced with a maximum-stability design which promotes shock absorption, resulting in a highly-durable flooring product.
POWERStock Pro tiles fit together with an interlocking dowel system, prefabricated to ensure factory precision. They also feature a unique wafer bottom for effective water drainage.
POWERStock Pro tiles are available in a multitude of color options, allowing for customization of your space. The Skill Series is 10% saturated with the colored EPDM particles, while the Motion Series is 35% saturated and the Extreme Series contains 95% colored EPDM particles for a bolder color choice.

PlayFALL Safety Tiles
Product Details
The PlayFALL tiles were developed as a playground surfacing system. Four varieties are available through Abacus, including systems that support 4-foot, 6-foot, 8-foot, and 10-foot fall heights, making these tiles a perfect choice for backyard place areas. As the specified fall height increases, the thickness of the tile increases, plus the addition of a foam PlayPad which is installed under the tiles for added cushion and protection. All varieties are ADA and ASTM 1292 compliant.
PlayFALL tiles are designed with a unique wafer bottom, allowing for efficient water drainage. This excellent drainage system supports the health of the tiles and those who spend time on them, as proper drainage greatly reduces the ability for bacteria to collect. This design makes PlayFALL tiles considerably cleaner and safer compared to wood or rubber mulch alternatives.
PlayFALL tiles connect to one another using an interlocking pin system and an adhesive for the edges. The tiles can be installed over a hard surface sub-base, such as concrete, or over a compacted granular surface. Tile systems are UV- and slip-resistant and come with a 10-year warranty.
